Karst spring close to the village of Rumyantzevo along the southern slopes of the anticline of Belene.  It is called the Big Lake to be differentiated from the Small Lake, springing in the same gorge, 300 m downhill. The local population names each Karst spring as a "lake". It is located 1 km to the south of the village. It is not dammed. Part of its waters is diverted with asbestos-cement pipes and a well is made. While the Small Lake is running dry the Big one has constant capacity. Both springs are at a high flat area - cropland. Svinski Dol starts from there which pours into the right bank of the River of Zlatna Panega. Deer, stags and wild boars from Visar Hill come to drink water from the springs.
