An area near the town of Lukovit. Its denomination has been given because of the birch trees that once had grown on the banks of the stream that had been flowing through it. It is to the southeast, immediately next to the town, to the right from the road to Todorichene. Surface of 30 hectare. With deep grey forest soil, over thick dark grey carbonate humus by the crest of the hill. Here in 1914 it was set up the catchment for the water-conduit of the built then Lukovit Municipal Hospital. During the years the nature of the area has changed radically. It is intercepted from the east to the west by the railway line Cherven Bryag - Zlatna Panega.
